I still can't believe that Dance Monkey; such a terrible song with stupid lyrics, annoying vocals and a bad instrumental gets played on radio stations so much. I mean, how can anyone past the 5th grade even like this mess? It's so childish and bad!

Meanwhile, there are some amazing underground rock and metal artists who put actual effort into their songs with hard guitar riffs, great vocals, heavy drums and killer guitar solos; and even get me started on the lyrics about a variety of topics, unlike the mainstream which is 95% of the time about love or heartbreak.

And yet, rock and metal are hardly ever played on radios, while Dance Monkey and many, many other garbage is.

I'm surprised that Crush 40, a rock and metal band who makes outstanding songs for official Sonic the Hedgehog games isn't mainstream; but a little girl who repeats "DanCe M0nkE" is.

TERRIFYING FACT: Dance Monkey has over 2.6 BILLION listens on Spotify, which is like, more than 1/3 of the human population!
