Dang, we just got scientific here. And science is my worst subject-

I have a friend who’d like to. His claim is that you can’t simulate consciousness. I don’t understand well enough to promote that way of looking at it. So just be careful to complete your allotted tests for the day and not to piss off the AI overseeing the sim (which answers to the name of “God”)

What I find fun about sim theory is asking questions like if something happens the sim lords don’t like can they roll the sim back to an earlier snapshot and tweak things so it goes the way it’s supposed to? My hot take is actually no. BUT I’d LOVE to hear what you think
