IN 1947 THE SUPREME COURT RULED IN EVERSON V THE BOARD OF EDUCATION THAT IT DOES NOT VIOLATE THE 1ST AMENDMENT TO BUS KIDS TO A RELIGIOUS SCHOOL. NOT; JUSTICE BLACK, IN HIS MAJORITY OPINION, STATED THAT THE 1ST AMENDMENT MEANT A "WALL OF SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE", AS STATED BY THOMAS JEFFERSON. JUSTICE BLACK SAID THAT WALL SHOULD BE VERY HIGH. SOMEHOW FROM THIS RULING THE MEANING OF THE WALL OF SEPARATION GOT CHANGED FROM A ONE WAY WALL TO A TWO WAY WALL. THE COURT DIDN'T STATE THAT. EVER SINCE THAT CASE RELIGIOUS LIBERTIES HAVE BEEN TRAMPLED ALL OVER BY IGNORANT PEOPLE THINKING THEY HAVE THE LAW ON THEIR SIDE. NOW LAWS ARE PASSED AND COURT CASES ARE DECIDED BASED ON THAT MISINTERPRETATION.
