Pelosi Rejected National Guard Before Jan. 6 Riot

You're really are sucked into the whole BS GOP narrative of this event. Unlike you, I never mindlessly believe anything any poltician or their media mouthpieces ever espouse without first seeing actual physical evidence that supports their claims.

FYI... here's the Jan 4/21 memorandum issued & signed by then Secretary of Defence, Christopher Miller - two days before the insurrection - relating to the upcoming events to held in DC on Jan 5th & 6th, unequivocally stating "At all times, the DCNG will remain under the operational and administrative command and control of the Commanding General of the DCNG, who reports to the Secretary of Defense through the Secretary of the Army."

Pelosi never once had legal authority over the National Guard, though the GOP party wants you to believe she did because it feeds into their BS narrative that she was to blame for the events of day, rather than Trump, et al.

No one said Pelosi had control over the National Guard... She has control over the security of the Capitol and as such refused aid to protect it... DUH

You previously asserted Pelosi 'rejected National Guard before Jan 6 riot" thereby illegimately trying to project she was the one solely responsible for the lack of protection at the Capitol during the riot.
The fallacy of your claims were previously debunked, even by the United States Capitol Police Oversight Committee. But don't take my word for it, here's just five examples of such...

By their own admission, Democrats set up the hearings to evade such scrutiny. They declared any questions about what House Speaker Nancy Pelosi knew about the potential for Jan. 6 violence and when she knew it were off limits.

Secret Service agents were never called to testify in public about whether former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson’s story about Trump trying to force his limousine to go to the Capitol were true. And questions about how those in charge of Capitol security responded to FBI and Homeland Security pre-event warnings about potential violence were never asked, much less answered.

Either you're someone that's truly ignorant of actual facts that've previously been publicized globally or alternatively, merely a foolish partisan hack who thinks everyone is gullible and/or easily corruptible as yourself.

I guess when one is truly unable to legitimately refute facts against Uvalde or Trump, the only option left is gaslighting.

But the most compelling piece of evidence that Trump wanted to thwart — rather than incite —violence is contained in a lengthy memo written by the Pentagon inspector general that chronicled the assistance the Defense Department offered Congress both ahead of and during the riot.

In it, the IG recounts a fateful meeting on Jan. 3, 2021 in the White House when then-acting Defense Secretary Christopher Miller and Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, met with Trump on national security matters.

The complete passage — hardly mentioned by Democrats at the hearings or the news media covering them — is worth absorbing in its entirety.

"Mr. Miller and GEN Milley met with the President at the White House at 5:30 p.m.," the IG reported. "The primary topic they discussed was unrelated to the scheduled rally. GEN Milley told us that at the end of the meeting, the President told Mr. Miller that there would be a large number of protestors on January 6, 2021, and Mr. Miller should ensure sufficient National Guard or Soldiers would be there to make sure it was a safe event. Gen Milley told us that Mr. Miller responded, 'We've got a plan and we've got it covered.'"

What you cite was published both domestically and internationally but for some reason you seem to be unaware of such. So too was the fact that General Milley repeatedly took actions behind Trump's back in an effort to limit his destructiveness? FYI... he's the same guy that held a Joint Chiefs of Staff meeting prior to Jan 6/21 to get everyone on board to refuse to ever accept any illegal Order Trump was pushing.

Yeah, I know, it's just one more inconvenient fact MAGA world chooses to ignore.

"In advance of the Jan. 6 rally, the president told the most senior civilian and uniformed leaders of the military he knew the event was going to draw a "large number of protestors," and he instructed the secretary of defense to ensure it was "safe" by having troops available. Democrats have not offered any evidence to counter that story."

but you just keep up your personal attacks on me... LOL

thanks

Apparently, you decided to delete and modify your prior comment - which I screen grabbed prior to you doing so - and offered up a countervailing perspective.

YOU:
"The fact that you had to use personal attacks against me and throw Uvalde into the debate just means you lost it... LOL

Thanks..."

ME:
I merely stated "you're someone that's truly ignorant of actual facts that've previously been publicized globally or alternatively, merely a foolish partisan hack who thinks everyone is gullible and/or easily corruptible as yourself."

If you see that as a personal attack, then perhaps it's because you recognize the legitimacy of that assertion and don't like it.

Further, if can't see the correlation between Ulvade & J6th - by those who swore an Oath to preserve & protect others - yet failed to do so for self serving reasons, your logical mind is no longer operational.
