Try to not be derivative. Many OC's share traits and if you want your's to stand out give it traits different from the norm.

my advice would probably be to draw random things. sometimes i'll do this, and eventually i get an idea in my head on something else that i wanna draw.

try taking things from nature, like a sunset or a tree, and turn it into an oc!
