Well there's a great big fat OOPS for ya right there. You can't deny that the Capitol Police let the rioters in when AOC makes a slip like that. However, the article I found was trying to make it clear that Trump had supporters in the Capitol Police. I'm sure he probably did but if the police were told to protect the Capitol bldg then that is what they would do because that is their job. If the police were told to let the rioters in then that is what they would do. They have been trained to put politics aside when doing their jobs. Just like the Secret Service are trained to take a bullet for any president, even ones that are very rude to them like the Obamas and the Clintons.
