IKR! YES! IT'S MY NUMBER ONE PET PEEVE! I LOVE TERRARIA AND MINECRAFT BUT THERE IS so MUCH MORE TO IT IN TERRARIA! IT HAS EVERY GENRE -sci-fi, fantasy, and more. Yes, terraria DID come after Minecraft, and has inspiration somewhat from there, but is a completely unique game. Everyone says Terraria is "just 2d Minecraft" but if they bothered to play it they'd see some similarities. Sure, around Halloween time irl you can get a creeper costume, but it isn't Minecraft, its so much more diverse and conceptually superior. It is hard to be recognized for that though, some kid saw me listening to Pink Floyd and joked that it was basically some modern song. People need to learn that more than 1 thing in common with a newer and more popular thing doesn't make it a ripoff.
