Who wants lockdowns now?

No problem:
If you're in the US , it is legal to "travel" to other states in search of a better life, unrestricted.

If you are migrant and want to "travel" to the US in search of a better life, that too, is perfectly legal...as long as you come through at designated border crossing with proper documentation.

BIG problem:
If you are a migrant and want to "travel" across our southern border through areas not designated as a border crossing, you are trespassing and breaking the law, 8 U.S. Code § 1325 .
When they are coming over the border in droves, unchecked, that is an invasion
