HCTA units undergo around 1.5 years of training before going into service

HCTA units know survival skills, like how to make a bow, how to start a fire, and many other useful things

HCTA units have been taught to know their environment and how to adapt to it

HCTA units are as good as the military in terms of combat

HCTA units wear enough armor to maximize safety while not lowing mobility

HCTA units know what they are doing

Most likely a malfunction or an attack, the HCTA units most likely got out alive and left the station

An open air train station, uhm, in like new york, some stops are above ground, you exited a above ground station

So the ones already ded were the ones wearing hats, usually low level ones

(Don't forget: Killed Worker Drones will become Damaged or Destroyed drones, which are resilient as f**k, bullets scratch the paint, and target anything alive. The only way to kill them is by chopping off the head.)
