You may not remember me, but I remember you. Ever since that fateful day when we met, you've been the only thing I can think about. Every night I lie in bed, imagining a world where we're together, laughing, making memories, making love. I imagine looking into your deep, beautiful eyes as I hug you and find comfort in you, as I feel protected and safe with you. My mom died when I was 3 to lung cancer and my dad left shortly afterward. I have no siblings and the rest of my family is out of touch. I have nobody to love, nobody to make me feel warm and safe on the inside, but you. Just thinking about you every night brings me great happiness and a deep, personal longing for love. But not just any love, your love. The moment I looked into those eyes, I knew you were the one, I fell for you. So, wherever you are out there in the world, just know that you are loved even if you don't always feel like it. Don't worry about me, I'll move on in my life. But I'll never forget you, that's a promise. I'm currently in a state of depression that I don't know if I'll recover from, but again don't worry about me, just remember these words.
