thanks Kate. i use Einstein (whom i revere and respect) as an example to let students know that no science is a done deal and everything is open to skepticism and reinterpretation. i was thinking of his famous quote on imagination since last Wednesday when we were discussing a long-mysterious structural pattern in certain enzymes. that quote has always bugged me.
