It’s a bit confusing but you’ll get the gist

I think it should be taught at school, maybe if a kid is confused about themself or have seen something on tv/shops/out they should know. Also from a young age (around nursery) your taught not to bully, then into primary school you hear about racism or sexist opinions. Yet some people believe it is wrong to teach about LGBT, but why? We’re exposed to straight couples everyday and no one says a thing about it, it’s “normal”, and every year at my primary school, we’d do a gender equality survey. PRIMARY SCHOOL (elementary). How is it wrong to explain about differences? Isn’t it good?

You are absolutely right. As a trans, Omni, and ace person I’m very upset my school doesn’t acknowledge anything about lgbtq when it’s extremely needed.

I go to a Christian school where the hymns we sing are told to “love everyone”

We had a talk about relationships in year 6
But that was part of SE

i thought you said ‘Ok, so I’m explain my view on teaching MY children about LGBT’ and it killed me

LGBTQ+ (among many other things) should be taught in schools. The government suppresses this information from reaching us, since we can't come out if we don't know it exists.
