"you kill me and they won't have a cure for the poison, they only have about 11 hours left to live"

*Apocalypse looks Kaitou dead in the eyes*
"you're talking all that shit. but here's the reality, our dads are dead. I have no doubt in my mind that you still care. because i can tell you do."

*you can practically feel kaitou's soul crushing in on itself, as his pride, self-worth, and hope all slip away, draining him of color.*

*gets up*
"I-I- Sh-Should g-go-" he says shakily
"Kaitou- don't do anything stupid-!"
"heh- sorry devin...that's kinda my whole shtick."

"What are you gonna do?"

"heh-pay for my sins..." *cries as his demon features go away*

*kaitou leaves*
*devin tries to stumble to their feet and fails*
"Go after him-!"

He runs after him, doing his best not to trip
