If a SCOTUS decision could not be changed upon later review, many Blacks would still be slaves and no Black would have the right of citizenship as extended by the Constitution. {Dred Scott v. Sandford, [a] 60 U.S. (19 How.) 393 (1857)} Finding that Roe v. Wade was not constitutional upon review was the correct ruling just as overturning Dred Scott v. Wade was correct.
