Pansexual means that you like ALL genders, regardless of gender, bisexual means you like 2 or more genders, and polysexual means you like 3 or more genders if that's what you mean

I thought poly was you date multiple people at a time?
if not, what is the term for that?

Bi is an umbrella technically I'm pan sit go as bi cuz it's easier to explain than pan bi is strictly two pan is anything goes

Bi is umbrella

Bi means you experience attraction to two genders typically, but some people use it to mean attraction to more than two, sometimes with a preference.

Polysexual and polyromantic are two or more genders and an umbrella term, pan means you are attracted to all genders and the gender does not affect your feelings at all, and omni means you are attracted to all genders but the gender affects your feelings.

And, in case you're confused by poly for hearing something else, there is a term called polyamorous for being attracted to more than one person at a time.

In case you're curious, I'm omni (fem or fem leaning is my preference)

bisexual: male and female
polysexual: some but not all genders
pansexual: all genders

Bi is not only male and female. Sometimes it's male and nb
