Kashiko, narrating: Long ago, the blue ocean waters were a peaceful place, where sea creatures and beautiful water nymphs and mermaids lived together in harmony. However, everything in the underwater world changed when human divers started traversing the oceans. Ever since the humans discovered what was in the oceans, they would scrutinize and even hunt down the almost defenseless sea creatures. Angered by the turn of events, the nymphs and mermaids resorted to singing hauntingly sweet melodies in order to distract the humans traversing the oceans into being dragged into the hauntingly cold and dark depths of the blue ocean waters. The trick worked for all but two people. While people claim that the nymphs and the mermaids are extremely mysterious creatures, they have taken photoshoots of the mystical beings to put on display for other humans to admire. It was also said that the two people who were immune to the melodies sung by the nymphs and mermaids got their own photoshoot and didn’t seem to mind having it be shown on display. However, when the photoshoot itself was put on display, the people who saw the photoshoot could already tell that the people in the photoshoot couldn’t be nymphs or mermaids just by the way they were dressed. Rather, they were immediately identified as Sayori and Sephiroth, the people whom the aquatic inhabitants feared, rather than the other way around. The rumors about the new display spread like wildfire, to the point where Cloud eventually found out about it. And since then, Cloud has made it his mission to find Sayori and Sephiroth and stop them before it was too late
