Silencio678: the stanley parable… such a pleasure to be here.

Narrator: This is the story of a man named Stanley. Stanley worked for a company in a big building where he was employee # 427. Employee # 427’s job was simple: he sat at his desk in room 427 and he pushed buttons on a keyboard. Orders came to him through a monitor on his desk, telling him what buttons to push, how long to push them, and in what order. This is what employee 427 did every day of every month of every year, and although others might have considered it soul rending, Stanley relished every moment that the orders came in, as though he had been made exactly for this job. And Stanley was happy. And then one day, something very peculiar happened, something that would forever change Stanley, something he would never quite forget. He had been at his desk for nearly an hour when he realized that not one, single order had arrived on the monitor for him to follow. No one had shown up to give him instructions, call a meeting, or even say hi. Never in all his years at the company had this happened, this complete isolation. Something was very clearly wrong. Shocked, frozen solid, Stanley found himself unable to move for the longest time, but as he came to his wits and regained his senses, he got up from his desk and stepped out of his office.

*Silencio678 steps out of the office, but suddenly runs to the 2 open doors*

Narrator: All of his co-workers were gone. What could it mean? Stanley decided to go to the meeting room, perhaps he had simply missed a memo.

*he takes the left door and completely passes the meeting room unto the stairs*

Pump: Just keep going

(Pump?)

“I dont remember where… up or down…”

Pump: Up.

Null: "Huh?"

Narrator: Stanley, don't climb those stairs.

Null: "Sorry."
*Null starts ascending*

Narrator: You'll die! If you die, the game will reset, and you'll have to go back to who you were before seeing the room!

*Null stops*

(Seems you've reached the top. You can go back down, or you can jump.)

*Null goes back down*

*going back down simply leads back to the Zen Room*

Null: "There's nowhere else to go!"

(You triggered the Zending. The only way to end/restart the game is by jumping off the stairs repeatedly.)

*Null goes back up the stairs and jumps down*

Narrator: When Stanley came to a set of two open doors, he entered the door on his left. *both doors open*

*Null goes into the right door*

Narrator: This was not the correct way to the meeting room, and Stanley knew it perfectly well. Perhaps he'd like to stop by the employee lounge first, just to admire it.

Null: "Hm."

Narrator: Yes, truly a room worth admiring. This intricately crafted room spoke to Stanley. Stanley stood here for a few moments, just taking it all in.

*Null just stands there*

Narrator: Now listen closely, this is important. Stanley took the RED door.

*Null goes into the red door*

Narrator: You actually listened? It must've been all the choices you had to make. I have a solution. *opens a lit door*

*Null goes through the door*

Narrator: I feel... happy. If we stay here, we will be forever peaceful and happy.

Null: "Okay."

(If you stay there, the story will never progress. At any point you wish, you can walk down the stairs behind you.)

*Null walks down the stairs*

*it leads to a towering flight of stairs*

Null: "Woah..."

Narrator: The game's gonna restart n- *game restarts*

...

*Null finds himself back in his office*
Narrator: All of his coworkers were gone. What could it mean?

Null: "Huh."

Narrator: Stanley decided to go to the meeting room, perhaps he had simply missed a memo.
(Every single ending in the game will reset, so this RP will never end.)

(Oh. I'll just take a break from this RP for a bit, then.)

Narrator: You survived! Now please, come back to the room.

*Null goes and does it again*

Narrator: Stanley, I'm not your enemy. Is this how much you hate me? That you'll jump off these stairs repeatedly just to get rid of it?

*Null continues doing it*

Narrator: *becomes increasingly more depressed every time.*

*Null eventually stops*

(You need to jump one more time for the game to reset.)

*Null takes a deep breath and jumps*

Narrator: Stanley, I've given up on trying to keep my happiness. I've also given up on trying to reason with you. Go ahead, jump off these stairs until you die.

*Null continues doing it*

Narrator: *waits for Null to walk forward*

*Null takes a large step forward*

Narrator: But, eager to get back to business, Stanley took the first open door on his left.

*Null continues walking*

Narrator: Stanley was so bad at following instructions, it's incredible he wasn't fired years ago.

*Null just w a l k s*

Narrator: Stanley, I think we really got off the wrong foot here. I'm not your enemy, really I'm not.

Null: "NOT LISTENING!!!"

Narrator: Really? I was in the middle of something, do you have ZERO consideration for others? Here, I'll prove it.

Null: "Okay, fine, I actually AM listening. I'll stop and listen to you."
