No, districts teach the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills which is determined and approved on the state level.

However, local school districts in the major metroplexes in Texas are predominantly run by Democrats and we all know what that means.
Indoctrination

Which are so VAST that is all you have time to teach. TEKs are the curriculum. Most often through our crappy, boring state approved textbooks🤮 that are not relatable to the majority of public ed students.
