*the figure by the door calls to another figure, and this kid runs up to Null*

*a figure pushes the smaller one down*

???2: So, you're probably wondering where you are, how you got here and who we are, and we won't answer those questions, yet...

???: *he shrunk back*

Null: "I'm tired, but now that I've started talking, I'm not going to be falling asleep any time soon, unless it's forced."

*the bee wakes up and darts back to the temple*

*this figure is tearing up a body*

???: *the figure looks around, then at the tree Alistair was hiding behind*

*Null looks for something to throw in order to distract ???, like a rock or a stick*

*what a coincidence, the bush has sticks on and in it!*

*Null takes a stick and throws it into a different bush*

???: *they whip around to the other bush, shriek, and attack the bush*

Alistair: *he tries to sneak away*
???: *they see Alistair and tackle him*

*Null pulls out his Nutcracker*

*Null hits them on the head with his Nutcracker*

???: *they screech, and try to hit Null with their sword*

*Null tries to jump out of the way*

???: *they angrily screech again, and jump into a tree*

*Null jumps into a different tree*

???: *they jump down, unsuspecting of Null jumping into a tree, and they fail to land on their feet*

*Null jumps out of the tree and hits them on the head with the Nutcracker again, and then jumps into another tree*

???: *they screech, then just fall down*

*Null jumps out of the tree*

???: *they are presumably dead*

*Null walks over to Alistair*

*his shell is cracked, and some of the amethyst on him broke off*

Null: "Oh no..."

Alvaro: *he walks over* Ugh, pathetic.

Null: "What?"

Alvaro: *he picks Alistair up* HIM. He's pathetic, could barely put up a fight.

Null: "He didn't have a giant hammer with spikes on it."

Alvaro: Whatever. *walks back into the temple*

*Null stares at ???*

???: *their shell is badly cracked, and one of their arms seems to be mangled*

Null: "I did pretty well."

Alvaro: Aren't you gonna come in?

Null: "Yeah, just give me a bit."

Alvaro: *sighs* Fine.

???: *their mangled arm seems to twitch*

Null: "Huh?"

*there's no other movement*

Null: "I'm gonna guess you're still alive..."

*their voice is very deep, it didn't sound like Carmen 's, Alvaro's, or Alistair 's*

*Null gets off the couch and goes to see what just happened*

*Alvaro and Carmen are unconscious on the floor, and this figure stands there*

???: *they look at Null*

???: *they screech, and run at Null*

*Null tries to hit them with the Nutcracker*

*they parry the attack with their sword, then leap away*

*Null throws the Nutcracker at them*

*they get hit by it, and back up, covering their shell*

Null: "LEAVE!!!!"

*they screech and run at Null*

*Null realizes he doesn't have his nail, because he thought the Nutcracker would be enough*

*they try to slash Null, but Alistair jumps onto the figure and knocks them down*

Null: "Thanks for that, I forgot I don't have my nail with me."

Alistair: Mhm! *he slashes the figure with his nail*
???: *they fall again*

*Null grabs his Nutcracker*

*the figure gets up, but back up and drop their sword*

Null: "Who ARE YOU?!?"

???: *they squint at Null* Heh heh...

*Null stares at them*

Alistair: If you don't answer, I'll stab you.
???: *hoarse laughing*

*Null starts spinning the Nutcracker*

???: Hehe, I'm Ares, a hired assassin, I was hired to assassinate you four.
Alistair: By who?
Ares: Hehehe!

Null: "Well, it won't be easy..."

Ares: *he laughs again, but starts coughing*

*Null laughs at Ares*

Ares: *he tries to slash his sword at Null*
Alistair: *he parries it with his scythe*

*Null throws himself into the air using his Nutcracker*

Ares: *surprised screech*

*Null lands behind Ares*
Null: "Boo."

Ares: *surprised squeak*

*Null swings his Nutcracker at Ares*

Ares: *he jumps out of the way* STOP.
