If so, before you are an official senator, we just need a stream that you follow to endorse you to be a senator to represent that stream.
I know that you should contact the Role_play or MSMG streams to get endorsed to become a senator for the stream. If you haven't, you may just ask a moderator you know from one of those two streams to see if you are endorsed to represent the stream for senate.
