Artois is a program that works at The End of Line Club with the other two Masked DJs, although they hate working for Castor. They enjoy being anonymous, though, because that's how they get paid.
When Sam Flynn entered The Grid, Artois immediately pretended to be not able to come to work, and they disguised as a normal partygoer to somehow help him. However, Castor found Artois, and he sent them to the Black Guards. They put up a fight about it, and escaped to the real world along with Quorra and Sam.
