It was about 3am or so. I was having a lot of trouble falling asleep, back then my sleep schedule was pretty messed up, so I just ended up browsing Reddit and stuff. Of course, when you’re just mindlessly clicking links, you’re bound to get rickrolled eventually, and that’s what happened to me. But the odd thing was, the video had no sound. I tried unmuting and turning up the volume, but nothing. I just closed the tab. I continued lurking on Reddit, but then… the really odd things happened. Every link I clicked was a rickroll, but different. Some videos had no sound, some seemed to have corrupted sound, and some were just…. plain weird. The videos got more disturbing as I went on. Soon, Rick Astley was getting violently murdered and blood was everywhere.
But the final video, oh no. The final video wasn’t even a rickroll. It was Rick Astley, staring into the camera. A creepy noise was playing in the background, like organ music. Then, he yelled, “WHY DID YOU DO THIS TO ME??” as his face melted and splattered in horrific gory detail. I shut off my laptop. I tried to go back to bed. I eventually somehow managed to fall asleep.
When I woke up, I noticed it was still dark. I sleep on my stomach, so I just turned over. I turned on my back to try and look at the time, and that was when I saw him.
Rick was just staring into my soul. Blood poured from his eye sockets.
“WHY?????”
