Nope, they're not living breathing human beings, we have no moral obligation to keep them"alive" if it gets to that point I think ending it all would be the moral thing to do before they cause more harm than good.
Sounds a bit like Creation. Only Creation is an ai that is aware of its surroundings and people using the devices, even without cameras. And Creation also isn't stopped by a system reboot, or anything like that
Neil deGrasse Tyson and Elon Musk believe it is likely that we are AI algorithms “living” inside a computer simulation of reality (Simulation Hypothesis). If that is true, I suppose it would be exactly like creation.
I believe the Simulation Hypothesis is like inventing a mirror to imitate reflections on a lake, and then saying the lake is actually a mirror invented to reflect your image.
IF YOU CREATE AN AI PROGRAM THAT BECOMES SENTIENT, ARE YOU MORALLY OBLIGATED TO MAINTAIN YOUR COMPUTER SYSTEMS AND KEEP THEM RUNNING SO THE AI CAN LIVE; OR CAN YOU CHOOSE TO POWER DOWN YOUR SYSTEM AND TERMINATE THE PROGRAM AT ANYTIME?
