Sounds like my parents. They say if your born a girl than you stay a girl if your born a boy you stay a boy. And if your a girl than you will marry a boy and if your a boy you will marry a girl. Then Im sitting there thinking how f**ked up are my parents
My friend almost accidentally outed me to my parents once.
So basically, we somehow ran into each other at Chili's, and they were like "Ash? Ash??"
My mom threw a hissy fit and said to me, "You may use your real name, if I wanted you to be called something else, I would've named you something else."
Then, she went to them and said, "My daughter's name is NOT Ash. Use her real name."
And the whole time, I was just trying not to cry.
