I’m gonna attempt to create my own tribe, this is just a trial run to get ideas

Wolf: *stands up quickly*

???: oh great, your awake. *they sound cheerful*

Wolf: "Um, yes?"

???: you don’t look like your from around here either…

Wolf: "Nope."

???: where are you from?

Wolf: "Pyrrhia."

???: huh… I always thought that continent was just a legend. We heard news of a 20 year war, but that was it. And Pantala… *they look over at a nearby Hivewing, looks like it was killed by scavengers* found out it existed a few months ago… also around the time that this was found here. *they were carrying a bag, the took out what looks like to be the breath of evil plant* It looks like the plant originated from Pantala. It’s infected this entire island and we’ve been lucky to contain it to just here, but these humans from your continent keep slipping through our patrols to harvest it. Our spies reported that they’re trying to use it to control another tribe here. By any chance can you help me remove it? We’ve tried everything since we found it, burning it doesn’t seem to work and the vines block us from getting to the roots.

Wolf: "Have you tried freezing it? Most plants die when they're too cold."

???: I’m surprised we haven’t thought of that yet. We just figured that since it was a plant, it should die when it burned up. Come to think of it, the other tribe here could probably drain its life force more directly.. but they have their own problems with the humans from other lands right now. You want to help me freeze it?

Wolf: *breathes a puff of ice into the sky* "Sure."

???: alright, follow me, just don’t touch the plant’s thorns or anything. They don’t affect me, but I’m not sure how they’ll affect you. Also, I guess you’ll need to refer to me by something… call me Ghost, it’s not my name but it’ll work for the short time we’re together.

Wolf: "Ok."

*Ghost jumps up into the air, when you follow, you see the island isn’t that big the rest of the continent stretches ahead of you with forests, hills, and small mountains, a few mountains are extremely tall however, one mountain range stretched up higher than the clouds. A canal separated the island and the rest of the continent, a few humans in boats looked up at the two dragons and tried to paddle back to the mainland.*

Ghost: wait right here, I’ve got some humans to get rid of.. we’re not supposed to be seen guarding the island, but if we are, we need to get these foreign ones off the island.

*he flies down and pushes the boat with enough force to make it drift back onto the beach in the shore, he then flies back*

Ghost: alright, it’s down here.

*he dives down again and lands in front of one of the thickest vines*

Wolf: *follows*

Ghost: it’s just under here, wait out here though, let me see if I can clear the way. *He runs into the vines but phases through them. About 30 seconds later the vines begin to move, it creates a short path for you to follow, right to the first vine that broke the ground, Ghost reappears by your side* That should do it. Let’s freeze it. Hopefully it works.

Peaches: *Wakes up*

???: hey, your finally awake. *they sound cheerful*

Peaches: How long was I out?

???: couple of days. You don’t look like your from around here…

Peaches: That's because I'm Pyrrhia

???: oh, that one from the legends? Does this mean Pantala exists as well?

Peaches: Yes

???: huh, I guess that’s where that one’s from then. *they point to a Hivewing, it was clearly killed by scavengers* found them here a few months ago. It was creepy, it had white eyes, and it was carrying some plant with it. I have it here actually. *they were carrying a bag, they pulled out what looked like the breath of evil* is this of Pantala origin? We’re lucky it’s only infected this island so far. If we had more dragons, we could keep it contained but unfortunately, humans native to your continent kind of.. wiped us out, they also killed a large portion of the native humans here too. Most of us retreated to our real home when half our tribe was first wiped out, we sometimes get to go on trips here though.

Peaches: That's horrible

???: they’re still like that, they recently moved into another tribes territory not knowing there were more dragons than us there… some human found the plant here, and their… king? Yeah that’s what their leader was called, their king is trying to control the dragons with it. That’s what our spies have told us. Has this happened on another continent and we just accidentally got drawn into it? I need to find a way to remove this plant anyways. I’m the guardian of the month so I need to make sure:

A. We’re not seen by humans and
B. If there are humans here, to drive them off the island since this is where they have been harvesting it.

By any chance, do you know how to get rid of the plant? Burning it only seems to make it worse.

Peaches: We don't have it on Pyhrria

*your talons go all the way through, you almost actually fall into the wall*

Ghost: good, now the plant shouldn’t be able to affect you.

Peaches: How long will this last?

Ghost: quite a while, on the other tribe here, I’ve had it last for almost 8 hours. A dragon more skilled than I am could probably make it last more. If it helps, my tribe can also switch between fire and ice breath*

???: huh.. alright. I guess we’ll figure it out together. Follow me. Maybe when we’re done, I can show you the best view on the continent here.

Peaches: What continent is this?

???: we just call part of it the gateway since that portion of the continent is basically the gateway to our actual home. We don’t originate from here, but we’re also natives to this land apparently. The humans have a different name.. I don’t remember the actual continent name (don’t have one yet). The other tribe here also might have a different name. Just be careful, they’re a little aggressive right now. The human leader was trying to control them with the plant I just mentioned.

Peaches: Maybe there is a cure

???: hopefully, I just need to remove the plant though so they can’t use it, can you help me?

Peaches: Okay I will

???: great, follow me. Call me Ghost by the way, it’s not my real name but it will work for the short time we’re together.

Peaches: Okay ghost

*You and Ghost fly over the island, it’s actually fairly small, one dragon could patrol it easily. You see the tall buildings of a human kingdom in the distance. The mainland isn’t that far away, it would probably take you 30 seconds to fly across the canal. Suddenly Ghost dive’s down, right below you must be where the plant was first planted*

Peaches: What's the plan?

Ghost: don’t have one, stay in the air you don’t want to get injected by this thing. It won’t affect me though, I’ll be fine.. I’ll figure out how to get though so we can cut it down. Actually…. *they grab your talon, suddenly the world shifts, your talons look see through for a second but then look normal again* Follow me again, I’m going to see if this works. It worked with the other dragons here.

Peaches: Okay *Follows Ghost*

*he land near the center of the area where the fines are growing out right next to the boulder*

Ghost: land gently… you don’t want to accidentally phase through the ground. It’s a bad experience, trust me.

Peaches: *Lands gently*

Ghost: now watch and copy me. *They slowly lift their talon and reach into the rock, their talon phases though the rock, its actually a wall built from a past kingdom but it’s been destroyed by the plant, the reach their arm half way through* Walk to the other side. Can you see my claw cutting through the wall?

Peaches: Yes.

Ghost: alright, you try.

Peaches: *Tries*

*your talons touch the boulder but don’t go through*

Ghost: hang on. *he grabs your arm again with his free claw, this time your talons are see through again, and they don’t change back* now try.

Peaches: *Tries it again*
