"I'm Samantha, but call me South, if you'd like. There's a long story behind that name."

They reach the docks and she smiles. "There's the ship!" South points to a brigantine anchored at the far end of the docks.

OK then

A woman jumps from the Crow's nest and lands in the water. South runs over to the edge of the dock. "Hi mum!" The woman surfaces, revealing that she is a salmon shapeshifter. "Hello, South! Who's this?" South turns to Dragnoc. "I met him while coming down to the docks! His name is Dragnoc."

Hi there..

"Hello dear. I'm South's mum, Sally."

Nice to meet ya

She smiles and pulls herself up onto the deck, her salmon tail and gills disappearing.

*he looks a bit confused*

"I'm a shapeshifter, dear. A salmon shapeshiter."

"Yep." A man with curly brown hair runs down the docks and hugs Sally. "Will!"

South steps back over to Dragnoc. "My dad...He hardly ever shows up."

She giggles. "There's no need to bow. My mum may be a captain, but I'm not that important"

"Sorry. I was raised that way."

"It's alright! Have you been to the docks yet?"

"Come with me!"

"Okay."

She gently grabs his hand and starts walking. "I'm Samantha, but some people call me South. It's quite a long story."

"Oh. I'm Orro."

"Cool name!"

She smiles

He smiles also

Once they get to the docks, she points out a yellow and blue brigantine. "That's my mum's ship!"
