As I walked down one evening
Through the Imgflip Grove
I overheard a Straight Man’s talk
To his dearest love
Said he, “My dearest Sally,
I am going to leave this shore.
To subdue the homosexuals on
A Straight Man’s Man of War.”
Said she, “My dearest Billy,
Why are you leaving this shore?
Fighting our sexual foes
Upon a homo sea?”
He said, “My dearest Sally,
I am going to leave this shore,
To fight against lust and sinfulness
On a Straight Man’s Man of War.”
Said he, “Now my dear Sally,
I must leave you now.
The ship is weighing anchor,
And I must sail away.”
He took from his pocket his handkerchief,
And tearing it in two,
He said, “Here is one half of it.
The same i give to you.”
And upon that ship of righteousness
The sailor waved his handkerchief
And Sally blessed her sailor on
A Straight Man’s Man of War.
