Listen, some people are fracking narcissistic. Being in a certain community doesn’t change that. Doesn’t make it any better or any worse. I’ve seen people use e v e r y t h i n g to justify getting what they want. Some people will use being queer as an excuse. Some people will use religion as an excuse, I’ve seen people use their job as an excuse. It’s not the community in general

all I'm saying is that the community you are in has a rep, and it's not like a magical fairy came and gave it that rep one day, THEY EARNED IT OVER TIME

Every community/group has a rep too. It’s something called loud minority. It’s where the bad people in a group are the ones being the most obnoxious and ruining it for everyone else.
This also happens with other groups like Christians
