Coming up for three hours now - so far 50 + other memes featured - please explain this to me !

Sometimes ba ton of memes are submitted at the same time, or maybe the mods just aren't on. You never know

My 'moan' was I submit a meme. It has a few views (which I now understand is an automated response) and then nothing for 3 hours... what 'grinds my gears', is the number of other memes that are featured !

I am also aware that this is a primarily a US site so I do take that into account . 15.00 hrs GMT is 09.00 on the east coast.
