Now he fees even less like Gay people are okay because now he feels like he’s being left because of his opinion

If he forced it on you I could understand but this seems like just him having his own beliefs? It’s okay not to agree with our lifestyle as long as he doesn’t hate on us for it-

But if he has actively been homophobic towards people then I’d just respectfully tell him that he makes you uncomfortable and that you’d like to stop talking or talk less
