Jade: we can try that, but I’ll have to steal some stuff from Jewel hive, which is where I escaped from, they’ll be looking for me.

Esmeralda: I could do the stealing I am very sneaky

Jade: I’m sure you are.

???: great, let’s go to Jewel Hive first, I’ll find somewhere to hide. Then we’ll head to bloodworm.

Jade: hopefully no one recognizes me…

Esmeralda: You could wait outside while I sneak in

Jade: I know Jewel Hive is the most relaxed, but they aren’t that relaxed. They will have guards near the base of the hive. Also speaking of which, Lady Jewel (I think that’s her name right?) might be of interest to you. She might be the only Hivewing Queen Wasp does not have direct control over who wields real power. She’s also a lot nicer to Silkwings. She might be willing to help you. I don’t suggest openly going there though, or threatening her.

???: noted. Are you ready?

Esmeralda: I am

Jade: we’re all set.

???: off to save a dragon from a tyrannical queen.

Esmeralda: Then let’s break him out!

???: you have a plan right?

Jade: it’s gonna need to be revised because now I have flamesilk. And I’m missing the armband thats supposed to identify me, but I think I can make it work. No one will notice a silkwing anyways.

???: so you don’t have a plan.

Jade: I have pieces of a plan.

???: exactly, no plan.

Jade: I never was really good at making plans. I escaped the hives with a rope made of silk and a rock as a counterweight, and a balcony with terrible railings to tie it too. Not my brightest idea but I got down.

???: that’s actually a really good plan, however, it’s also risky.

Esmeralda: You also have a hivewing now

???: and a leafwing. It might be a little harder to hide the fact you are a leafwing in bloodworm. If it was Jewel hive, we’ed have no problem.

Esmeralda: You know a lot about the hives

Jade: we can think of a way to get him out on the way. I can get us in just fine, but it’s going to be difficult to hide a leafwing.

Esmeralda: What if we pretend to be visitors from Jewel hive

Unidentified leafwing: keep talking.

???: other hivewings! Quick, hide!

*the one holding you looks back and lets go of you, they tell you to not say anything about them, the two that were talking about Jade flew up into the trees, the other 4 flew back into the forest and out of your sight, sure enough, two hivewings touched down near Jade, they spoke in unison*

Hivewing 1 and 2: you couldn’t escape the hives forever, little silkwing. *they move to grab Jade, then the two leafwings who flew into the trees landed on the hivewings backs. They shook off the leafwings and they began to fight.*

Esmeralda: *Not exactly good at fighting so she sees if there is a way she can pull the silk wing away from the fighting without getting noticed*

*While you were dragging Jade, she had woken up. She was a little disoriented, but she used her flamesilk and hit one of the hivewings who screamed in pain, then one of the leafwings killed the Hivewing, the two leafwings then fought together against the last Hivewing*

Esmeralda: I’m helping by the way don’t burn me please

Jade: *in a weak voice* I know.. *she’s trying to recover, after a short time, the leafwings win. They’re the ones following you now*

Esmeralda: *Looks around*

???; we just want to talk, clearly you aren’t being controlled by Wasp.

Esmeralda: Never have been

???: what?

Jade: you must be one of the lucky few.

??? 2: I doubt that. That’s a very low chance.

Esmeralda: Lucky few? Does that mean that there are hivewings who can’t be controlled?

Jade: theoretically…

*one leafwing looks like they know something but don’t say anything*

???: it’s probably possible, but rare.

Esmeralda: Yeah

(Btw do you mind if esmeralda uses her shapeshifting or should I have her not use it)

(Yeah it’s fine, Jade’s not one to fight scavengers and the leafwing characters still haven’t been created yet)

Esmeralda: .

(She would be more likely to turn into a different dragon, she doesn’t turn into a scavenger a lot. Just wanted to confirm it was okay since it is a bit op to be able to turn into completely different dragons)

(Shape shifting is not the most op thing I’ve seen/given ability to my OCs, besides, having animus magic can be a bit op sometimes)

??? 2: don’t want to talk now, huh.

???: don’t be rude, this silkwing kind of saved our necks.

??? 2: we would have still won.

(Esmeralda’s bracelet is animus magic, it’s a little op since it can mimic all natural dragon abilities. Wings of a skywing, claws of an icewing, venom and scales of a rainwing, etc. Even if she doesn’t know the dragon species. Pretty useful if she is in a hive and the control thing happens)

Esmeralda: *Sirs down not really sure what to do*

??? 2: *he just noticed the bracelet* running from the hive and all you took with you was a bracelet? No supplies?

???: I mean, it doesn’t make sense, sure, but I think Wasp would have noticed if she took more.

??? 2: YOU IDIOT, WASP WOULD DEFINITELY NOTICE IF THIS DRAGON IS GONE.

Jade: calm down, I’m sure there is an explanation for it, I left with basically nothing.

??? So you do not know this dragon?

Jade: never seen them before today.

???: … I really don’t want to do this but I’m going to hold you two as our prisoners. Besides, we need your information on the hives.

Jade: …

Esmeralda: *throws her wings out* Prisoners?!

???: we thought you were going to report our location to Wasp, which would pretty much lead to our extinction. It was necessary. But you aren’t being controlled, you’re different, and don’t think I didn’t notice the claws changing underground.

Jade: ?

Esmeralda: I attacked the other hivewings, what part of that makes you think I would report your location to wasp? Are leafwings stupid?

???: we didn’t see you attack them. We must have spotted you after you lost them.

???: we don’t like taking chances, in our case, it’s better to kill first and ask questions later. The silkwing on the other talon is less likely to report to Wasp.

Jade: I just wanted to cross the ocean so Wasp wouldn’t be able to get to me.. but you’ve reminded me I still have someone to save. A sibling of mine is trapped in Bloodworm hive… I don’t think I’ll get them out alone..

Esmeralda: You wanted to take her prisoner as well!

???: it makes sense, we know she’s been in the hives almost her whole life.

Jade: I’m actually one of the lucky few who has escaped the hives.

Esmeralda: If I met someone who was running away from my worst enemy I wouldn’t capture them, I would offer them safety.

???: I know. The system is flawed. They will be much safer as a prisoner here than in the jungle. There are dragon eating plants. Large panthers that can kill you if you aren’t careful. And if Wasp gets her talons on you, I have no idea what she’ll do.

Esmeralda: So you offer them safety!

??? 2: you’re lucky we aren’t killing you.

???: it makes sense.. you have information we can use. You thought we would just let you go?

??? 2: besides, we were going to intercept you at some point.

Esmeralda: *Goes in between Jade and the leaf wings, she growls* I’m warning you, I’m not someone you want to fight. I will win *she digs her claws into the ground so they don’t see them become serrated like an icewing’s, and uses mudwing to buff her muscles*

???: hm.. magic?

??? 2: suddenly that bracelet makes a whole lot more sense.

Jade: …

???: I wasn’t planning on hurting you.

??? 2: I was.

???: SHUT UP YOU AREN’T HELPING. NOR WOULD I LET YOU.

Esmeralda: Very reassuring.

???: I can see that. Forgive him, he’s difficult sometimes.

??? 2: you aren’t really good at extracting information out of them.

???: if you would STOP, maybe I wouldn’t have this problem. I will do this my way.

??? 2: alright, I’ll be waiting to say I told you so. *he flew up into the trees*

Jade: what was that about?

???: *growling* that’s not something you will get to know right now.

Esmeralda: *glares*

???: that dragon annoys me sometimes, let’s talk about you. I want to know what you know about the hives.

Esmeralda: Why should I tell you anything?

???: well for starters, I can help save the silkwings from Wasp. Believe me, if she finds a way to control the silkwings with her mind control, she’s do it with all silkwings in a heart beat. You’re all probably taught how we are the aggressors of our war. We just refused to give up our queen. I’m not saying our side is free of fault, but she didn’t have to declare war on us for that and slaughter us to near extinction.

Esmeralda: You literally just tried to capture us. Not exactly helping your reputation

(Actually it’s the Poison jungle but ok)

*Jade knows for sure she’s being followed, but she doesn’t know what type of dragon is following her, she just hopes it’s a silkwing and stops to rest on a large branch*

(Oop I knew that- my mind said one thing and my fingers typed another)
Esmeralda: *hides behind a tree and watches*

*Jade suddenly stands up and flies further into the forest, suddenly 6 hivewings burst through the trees to chase her, all being controlled*

Esmeralda: *flies after them and bites one of their tails*

*to of them turn around to fight you, the rest continue after Jade, they seemed surprised that they were being attacked by a Hivewing*

Esmeralda: Eek *starts flying away as fast as she can*

*The two hivewings chasing you accidentally fly into one of the dragon eating plants*

Esmeralda: *keeps flying*

*After flying through the forest, you catch up
with Jade somehow… somewhere near the coast, suddenly she’s slammed into a tree by a leafwing, a group 6 emerges from the bushes and trees around you*

???: just another silkwing, I’m not even sure how they managed to fly this far into the jungle. Want me to kill her?

??? 2: not yet, let’s see what she knows when she wakes up first.

*another leafwing saw you and pinned you against a tree*

Unidentified leafwing: I’ve got a Hivewing here.

???: then kill it.

Unidentified leafwing: they aren’t being controlled. *they look back at you* You have 10 seconds to explain yourself or I’ll kill you right here. *they lift a claw to your throat*

Esmeralda: Uuuh I bit that other hivewing’s tail, does that count for something?
