They told the kids who were hiding to yell if they need help, which is such a dumbass move. A little girl was identified by the shooter and was then killed. Most of the cops only went in because they had kids there. They went in to grab their own kids and nothing else. They had all non-law-enforcement parents in handcuffs so they didn’t go try and save their own children that the cops wouldn’t save. One cop went in and just shot in random directions. They ended up killing one of the children, and it’s possible that more kids were killed that way and we just don’t know yet.
In the end, they had to get border control because no one else would do anything productive.
