if you're trading version-exclusive pokemon with a friend, you can mess with them by catching the pokemon in the ugliest pokeball you can find, and because they're version exclusive, the only way they can get those pokemon is from you. you can even go out of your way to find a female of the pokemon they want so any eggs they get from said pokemon will be in the same type of pokeball. guys i just got a terrible idea
