Chickens spawn in plain biomes when the light is ~8-15, which is also true to pigs, cows and sheep. Rabbits spawn in virtually any biome, except the ocean and extreme hill biomes. Horses and Donkeys spawn in plain biomes, but are mostly found in the savanna biome. Mules are bred at any biome or light level, but only spawn when a player cross-breeds a horse and donkey. All of the above are passive and, excluding the mule, at ~8 to 15 light.

Bats spawn in caves at appear at light 3 and below. Mooshrooms spawn at ~5 to 15 in mushroom biomes. Squids appear in the ocean biomes, at ~10 and below. Glow Squids spawn in underwater caves in the ocean biome, at 5 and below. Tropical fish, pufferfish, salmon, and cod are found swimming in the ocean biome at 15 all the way down to 5. Striders appear in lava lakes in the Nether at any light level. Villagers appear in NPC villages, at plain, desert, taiga, and savanna biomes.

Ocelots appear uniquely to jungle biomes at any light levels. Cats appear at NPC villages at any light level. All the mobs mentioned above are all passive.

Now all the mobs mentioned below are neutral:
Enderman, anywhere underground in Overworld: anywhere in Nether and End, ~5 and below in Overworld: any level at Nether and End
Spider, anywhere except ocean biomes, any level
Blue Spider, with spawners in abandoned mineshafts, any level
Polar Bear, in Tundra biomes, any level.
Mountain Goats, very high up in Extreme Hill biomes, any level
Wolf, mostly in Forest and Dark Forest biomes, 5 and up
Zombified Piglins, anywhere in Nether, any level
Zombified Hoglins, anywhere in Nether, any level

Now every mob below are all hostile:
Zombie, any biome except ocean biomes, 5 and below
Desert Husk, in deserts, any level
Drowned, when a zombie stays underwater for some time or naturally in ocean biomes, 5 and below
Skeleton, anywhere except Tundra and Ocean biomes, 5 and below
Stray, Tundra biomes, 5 and below
Skeleton Horsemen + Skeleton Horse, when a player is at least 3 blocks away from a skeleton horse when it gets hit be lightning then will transform into four Skeleton Horses with a Skeleton with an enchanted bow and helmet, any level, The Skeleton Horsemen are hostile, but the Skeleton Horse is passive
Slime, in swamps or rarely at Y 30 and below, any level
Witch, in swamps, 10 and below

Evoker + Vindicator, spawn in woodland mansions in dark forests, or in Pillager camps, any level
Pillager, spawns in Pillager camps, any level
Ravager, spawns in Pillager camps, any level
Vex, spawned by Evokers, any level
Shulkers, in Ender cities, any level
Piglins + Piglin Brutes, in Nether Fortresses or in Bastiens, any level
Hoglin, in Crimson Forests or Bastiens, any level
Magma Cubes, anywhere in Nether, any level
Wither Skeletons, in Nether Fortresses, any level
Blazes, with spawners in Nether Fortresses, any level

Snowmen are neutral as well

Ender Dragons, Withers, and Wardens are all hostile, Iron golems are neutral, and idk about snowmen.
