Just wait for LOTS of Poppy Playtime lore, I already have something from chapter 2 about why Mommy Long Legs was so hostile to the staff.
At one point in the chapter, you see a poster that say “Mommy along Legs and Family” that show 2 other toys (Daddy Long Legs and Baby Long Legs) but when you think about it, why are you only fighting just the mom, but not the whole family, here is why:
When you get to the room with a crane, it’s VERY hard to find, but a not mentions something about how Daddy and Baby Long Legs where dismantled, and Mommy saw their ‘corpses’ in boxes. Of course she blames the staff and most employees, and endlessly hates them. This also links to when in the game Statues, she mention by how you used to work at Playtime co. and she didn’t deserve to die on her own, but the player instead.
But about the claw that drags away her head at the end of the chapter, I have barely any information on, except for one thing, as you put her in the grinder, she yells, “You’ll make me a part of him” and assuming ‘him’ is the claw. I would also like to believe as more toys are killed in the game, they will be built into some large, mixed up version of all toys so far. Now the claw had Mommy’s head, but I think Huggy Wuggy won’t be a part of the claw monster… yet
