that is where you are wrong my friend any gun will work in space when the gun pouder burns it will make its own oxygen and do the same thing it would do on earth

it doesn't even need oxygen, all it really needs is a tiny explosion, but it doesn't need to be sustained in order to fire. unless I'm wrong. then the gun won't fire because it can't make its own oxygen.
