And fictosexuals/romantics (what I am) are often considered a part of the ace spec, so would I fall upon the ace spec anyways?

And fictosexuals/romantics (what I am) are often considered a part of the ace spec, so would I fall upon the ace spec anyways? | Can somebody please let me know exactly what aceflux is? I identify as it, yet don't quite know if it's actually what I am. More specifically, my "aceflux" fluxes between sex indifferent to liking sex, and I don't know if that actually counts since it doesn't really seem all too "asexual"? Oh, you're referring to what "aceflux" means- My apologies, for I'm dumb as a rock (。_。)
But, what I was asking is if "fluxing" between being sex indifferent to liking sex is actually "aceflux", which is because neither term really feels all too "asexual", you know? However, in hypocrisy of that, I'm also fictosexual/romantic, which is often considered a part of the asexual spectrum because, you know, you can't actually have intimate relations with fictional characters, hence I am very confused on where I stand \(〇_o)/
Plus, I just feel comfortable on the asexual spectrum either way, which is because my asexual-ness has been greatly influenced by past trauma, thus making me *feel* hypersexual, but also making me want to refrain from anything sexual in order to avoid any traumatic flashbacks. It's kind of a mess of a sexuality, I know 😅

How is Fictosexual part of the Ace spectrum? You only count as Asexual if you DON'T want intimacy! Doesn't matter what universe!

Also, You might just be Autochorissexual

As I said before, you can't actually have intimate relations with fictional characters, hence why it's considered a part of the asexual spectrum (in short, there's a lack of sex when you're fictosexual/romantic). Still, I wouldn't mind intimacy, it's just that it goes between being sex indifferent (I don't really *want* to have it, but aren't quite bothered by it, either) to liking sex, and neither term really seems "asexual" since neither is like "No, I *don't* want intimacy".

As for Autochorissexual, I just looked up what it means and, in a way, maybe... However, the only reason as to why I ever feel like not involving myself in a sexual fantasies is merely because I don't like my body and, to me, personally, I don't find that a very valid reason to identify with it, since it's a form of self-hate.

All right, I will. Actually talking about this all, however, has actually made me feel that, yes, I am still aceflux, especially since sex indifferent *is* kind of asexual? I mean, it's not downright, "No, I don't want intimacy", but it's also not straight-up, "Yes, I want intimacy". For that reason, I *do* feel as though I am aceflux, just on a much more shallow level (and identifying somewhere on the ace spectrum just naturally makes me feel comfortable, and I don't really want to stray from that and feel uncomfortable). Anyways, thanks for the help - it is greatly appreciated! []~( ̄▽ ̄)~*
