i did, i built a platform that spanned the entire underworld. I used good weapons that could kill the smaller eating things, i used plenty of ranged weapons. I used a weapon that did 64 damage and i still died then

dont focus on the small.
get the molten armor set sunfury a good boy hellfire arrows and imp staf and heal potions

I play on 3ds so i cant do a lot of those things.
