It does stun unless you have a lot of poise, it also keeps on moving if you do it more, and the last hit always knocks you over if you get hit by it

but it has no range and such a long windup you'd have to be dumb to get hit by it. placidusax's ruin is insta cast with a hitbox when you cast it. lightning ram literally stunlocks. lions claw does 1400 damage.

If you're a melee user you literally can't knock them out of it

And if you get hit by it its a definite blood loss

also: of you get hit by anything during the more than a second long windup you just fall. so over-aggresive melee users hard counter it. and if they are playing passive then they will see it coming and move literally 1 foot away from you because thats how far the range is on it
