Covid hasn't killed anywhere near 50% though... Not even the bubonic plague was that bad-
I sure would be elated if there was a permanent cure by October 2023 (when endgame happens in MCU timeline)
Just I don't like this idea much in general bc what happens after spider man: no way home-
