By "wrong gender" I meant that I'm not romantically attracted to girls not that im sexist | Is it weird that even though I'm gay I've only dated people of the opposite gender? When I was younger I had a crush on a guy but I was telling myself that that was wrong and kinda denied it. Later, I learned about homosexuality and realized there was nothing wrong with it. But it took me a while to realize I was gay. So I kinda forced crushes on myself to like girls and dated them. I've never had a messy breakup because we both just knew we weren't right for each other. I thought I was just dating the wrong girl, not dating the wrong gender entirely. Personally, no. However, it's good to come to terms with yourself. I admire you stepping forward and asking if anyone relates to this. My advice: Just be yourself and don't hate yourself. You're not perfect. No one is. Just do what makes you happy, unless it's illegal, of course.
