I don't understand why people are saying having "500+ genders" is supposed to be a bad thing, like I can't tell if you're ignorant, someone who can't adapt, or just plain transphobic.

And non-binary/genderqueer/gender non-conforming people and identities have existed for thousands of years in many other cultures (like the 'two-spirit' in some Native American cultures).

Plus the "2 genders" argument falls apart because intersex people exist, people that are born not male or female.
