They kind of have been.
70s-late 80s: Soviet-Afghan war
90s-early 10s: War against al Qaeda, which Afghanistan was tangled in due to the Taliban’s deals with bin Laden
10s-2021: war against the Taliban in Afghanistan
Present day: Taliban still rules over Afghanistan in a violent, fascist manner.

Afghanistan is also resoonsible for the longest war ever (2001-2014) also you know you can reply to comments right?
