actually - incorrect. Slytherin almost never accepts muggle-borns. But they do accept half-bloods. Tom Riddle, Snape, and Umbridge are the most known, but in fact most Slytherins are actually half-bloods, though they might, like Riddle, will claim to be pureblood.

so essentially what im saying is they do accept half-bloods, and actually they have more half-bloods than purebloods.

oh that's interesting! I reread the Sorting Hat's song yesterday and it says he only takes purebloods, so the sorting hat is wrong sometimes!!!

my parents got me into harry potter, though they arent really al that into it. as far as i know, i can beat anyone i know in harry potter trivia

(i had to reply to this one, it wouldnt let me reply again lol) yeah I have a friend, actually a Slytherin herself, all we talk about is HP, but most of my friends are like "but the books are sooo long. i watched the first movie tho" and im just like, y'all are missing out on sooo much.

right?! and i say the same thing about the books too, bc people are like "well, the 1st one was kinda meh, so idk" and im just like, dude. it gets better. give it a chance. read a little! the movies aren't the greatest anyway, based on the fact they get so many things wrong, but like, still, watch more than just one before you judge the rest.

I know! And my parents judged it on the first movie, and my mom won't even give the book a chance. Me and my friend on the other hand, she literally had a Harry Potter reading contest with her dad lolll

my parents actually have watched all the movies, but never read all the books. im pretty sure they think im insane sometimes bc i read them so much. i literally timed how fast i could read them once too, read the whole series in two weeks no joke.
