Thing is, a lot of people don't give a shit about people being gay. Liberals are the ones making it a thing by accusing folks of being homophobic. If you are straight and stand by your standards of being straight, not caring if someone is gay, you still a homophobe these days apparently. If you straight and not into transgender, then you a genderphobe or something stupid like that.
The problem is that Liberals are often grooming children's sexuality before they are mentally able to even understand the concept of such things. If you are trying to influence a child's behavior then that states enough about you being an offender.
While sides of the spectrum vary, the 'Don't Say 'Gay' Bill' protests spoke volumes for itself. Why you think the Bill was passed in the first place? Cause dumbasses in Florida were doing that stupid shit in class with kids. Leave kids alone. Stick to teaching the fundamentals of Education.
If majority of people aren't into teaching kids about straight/heterosexuals themes. What makes you think they will be okay with them being taught about gay themes? Also personally I believe such should be saved for High School, than Middle School(and heaven forbid less.) Though it seems today's society is still on some Feudal Age System where it is okay for little kids to date and seen 'socially acceptable.'
