Garbage Day: I think we all have hoarder tendencies when it comes to throwing away things in our life that no longer suit us. It's easy to throw away a t-shirt or an old magazine. It's harder to let go of behaviors and people that are not aligned with our purpose, goals, or future aspirations. Today is trash day for me. It's been a very emotional week because I have had to take inventory of my behaviors, habits, and goals who no longer align with my present or my future. Letting go of some of these was definitely harder than I thought it would be, but it is necessary for me to grow in the direction in which my steps are ordered. I'm looking forward to life after the trash has been picked up and I get to start with a clean slate.
