So basically
In an alternate universe
George Washington cuts down a ‘special’ tree, causing him to fall into the ‘Wonderland’.
The statue of liberty is designed to contain him in his Libertylurker form, with an entire engine and wheel system to push the statue of liberty off when it’s time to leave.

and the libertylurker is basically just a worm stuffed in the pedastal of the statue
