I remember when in high school I was trying to convince my friend that there were 26 letters in the alphabet, I had a difficult time trying to get him to realize there were actually 24.

In the song and you just count the letters that are by themselves it still is 29 letters cause at the end of the song it sang " now you know your A B C next time wont you sing with me" so it says the 26 letters and then at the end it said another 3 letters making it 29 letters.
