well granted that most crops have yet to be planted in 3/4 of America, and its to late to plant wheat because its a winter crop, and a majority of Americas fertilizer comes from the Koch brothers, I think America will find that because farmers quit planting wheat years ago because only corn and soy beans made them money, we will more than likely see a wheat shortage, so that will effect people who like pasta and bread. I hope the government is wrong, but if you knew anything about how the farming world works, you would know that they heavily rely on anhydrous to grow all the crops, and if their is a lack of fertilizer, too much applied, or none at all crops grow stunted. They could just use blood meal, but due to regulations and public health concerns manure hasn't been in use for a long time due to E.coli concerns, so if the news reports are true, and farmers are turning to manure, we will be seeing more future E.coli outbakes. So understanding that the world might work upon lies is what the joke is all about.
