Funny thing is, they do. Not just spiders, other bugs, like roaches too. Whoever told you that, was trying to keep you from developing a phobia. But if it makes you feel better to believe the lie, then cling to it.

i mean to be fair, it's probally the kind of sleeper, if you're a light sleeper that the smalest breeze wake's up you will feel them, but if you sleep like a log you will swallow

then why would you feel the slightiest thing on your lips, they are one of the most sensible part of your body, balls win of your're a guy, i held several spider, some small some big, but one thing they have in common is their paws, feels like Q-tips, so you would, indeed, feel it
